Does AgentCerta cover the whole United States?
AgentCerta is built for the United States, with navigation for every state and Washington, D.C. Profile coverage is still limited. Our initial public licensing cohorts are in Texas, California, and New York. A state or city appearing in navigation does not mean we have a complete agent directory there. Current coverage shows what is actually available.
What does “license source checked” mean?
We matched the profile to an attributed licensing source and recorded the check date. Read the profile for the jurisdiction, source, status, and dates. New York's Active label reflects the dated active-license dataset. A check does not establish sales results, customer satisfaction, government endorsement, or current availability. Always confirm status with the linked regulator before relying on it.
How do I find an agent for my area?
Start with agent search and choose your state. A state filter uses license jurisdiction. County information from a licensing record is a regional connection, not proof that an agent serves your neighborhood. Review the supporting evidence and ask the agent directly about the location and type of transaction you have in mind. No results means a gap in our coverage, not that no qualified agents work there.
Why are sales totals, specialties, or ZIP codes missing?
Licensing records usually do not establish these facts. We need evidence tied to the right person or team, geography, and reporting period. We do not turn a mailing address into a service area or a missing sales figure into zero sales. Self-reported claims remain distinct from independently verified evidence.
Why does a profile have no photo or only a review-source link?
A portrait must match the real estate agent and have a documented basis for display. A review source must also match the right person or team. Links to approved review sources are separate from reviews submitted to AgentCerta. We do not combine different platforms into an invented overall score or treat an unverified photo as identity evidence. See the review policy.
Can I create an account and claim my profile?
New account registration is not open yet. You can apply to join our network now. An application is reviewed separately; it does not create an account, publish a profile, or approve ownership. Existing account holders can sign in. Public support and correction requests do not require an account.
If you cannot find your record, use the network application. Do not claim a different person with a similar name. Read the claim policy for the evidence and permissions involved.
How do I report an error or make a privacy request?
Use Contact AgentCerta; no account is required. Include the profile or page URL, explain the concern, and add a public source link if relevant. Do not send passwords, payment details, or identity documents. Requests are private and enter review. A request does not automatically change a record or prove ownership, and further verification may be needed.
What can I learn from a city guide?
City guides combine dated Census estimates with official local resources. Check the named geography, measurement period, definitions, and margins of error. Median owner-occupied home value is not today's median sale price, and a citywide estimate is not a neighborhood or individual-property valuation. Source links let you continue your own research.
Can a real estate agent pay to rank higher?
No. Payment does not enter editorial relevance or verification. Optional paid tools do not buy recommendations or remove negative reviews. Check pricing and availability before relying on a planned feature. AgentCerta does not guarantee leads, sales, search rankings, or citations by AI services.
How can I contribute a review or a local answer?
Reviews require a verified account and moderation. Expert answers also require an approved connection to the real estate agent. An empty question means no answer has been approved; it is not an endorsement or a generated expert opinion. If account registration is unavailable, use the network application to express interest, or contact us about a concern.
