OWNERSHIP WITHOUT EDITORIAL CONTROL

Profile Claim Policy

Claiming a profile establishes a connection to a real estate agent. It does not transfer control of independent evidence.

Requirements

When account registration and claims are available, use a verified account email and provide a public source connecting you to the real estate agent record. A reviewer must establish identity and authorization to manage the record before approving ownership. An email address alone is insufficient. The Help page explains current account availability; a network application does not create an account or approve a claim.

Permissions

Approved owners may update self-reported profile fields, submit evidence, view their own inquiries and analytics, respond to reviews, and contribute expertise. They cannot edit independent transaction history or remove customer reviews.

Conflicting claims

Claims with ambiguous identity or competing ownership remain under review. Exact jurisdiction and license identifiers take precedence in identity resolution. Names alone never trigger an automatic entity merge.

Corrections and revocation

An inaccurate claim or unauthorized account may lose editing access. Material decisions retain the actor, source context, and reason in an audit record. Anyone can report a conflicting or unauthorized claim through Contact without an account; a report does not itself transfer ownership.
